KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia’s Covid-19 crisis has magnified the inadequacies in Malaysia’s public health system, thrown into focus this week by a brief walkout by contract doctors and the lack of beds at public hospitals amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Experts say the move by the doctors was the result of policy gaps stretching for years and that solutions being offered by the current administration were not comprehensive enough.
